This is a long post with lots of pics so bear with us! This is all our Christmas adventures!
One fun thing we like to do every year is see the lights at Temple Square in Salt Lake. This year our awesome friends were with us!
I loved this picture because M and H are making the same crazy smile face.
We also had a family activity where we acted out the manger scene. H wanted to be Mary and was "with child" at the beginning.
The only way we could keep G dressed up is to give him a bottle!
Here is all of us. Shepherds wore bathrobes and things on their heads, right?
On to Christmas Eve! Before going back to school, we would each buy an ornament for each other. But since ornaments are pricey, we started a new tradition of making ornaments for each other which I like so much. This year was painting. G did paint but when this picture was taken notice how far away the paints have been put from him!!
Then the family came over at night and we ate lots of food, played the traditional Merry Christmas Game and made these Gingerbread (Graham Cracker!) houses.
H had so much fun as you can tell by her face in the picture!
H got money for Christmas from a few people so she decided to buy a scooter. She no longer walks in the house she rides her scooter. She rides it from the moment she gets up until the time we park it at night.
Merry Christmas Morning! I love this picture of G getting this little piano. When he dances he puts his finger in the air like this picture shows. So cute.
Here are the kids opening their Santa gifts. G got the car garage in the back of this picture and he plays with it more than he has ever played with any other toy. I am absolutely amazed at how long he plays with it.
Here they are with some of their loot. Happy kids. It's nice to have new toys in the house so they keep a little more busy playing.
Finally some pictures of H dressed in new clothes and us on Christmas afternoon.
It was a great Christmas. I feel so blessed to have what we do and to be able to share the holidays with family. I love seeing their faces when they get something exciting and to see how excited they are to give presents to others too. I hope everyone has a great rest of this year!

I like that last picture of you and the kids. Very cute! And I really like your tradition of making ornaments for each other. I've been trying to decide what to do, because I like the ornament tradition, but it is hard to find reasonably priced ornaments that are specfic to each person. Next year we'll have to try the homemade idea. thanks!
What a fun Christmas! It looks like you got family to come to your house. How nice. I can just see H. riding the scooter all over the house. That is what Mage got from Santa (a scooter "with 2 wheels") and I am not nice enough to let him have it in the house.
