9 years and counting

So Happy 9 years to us! This year we decided to make up for some of the lame previous anniversaries we have had and go to Las Vegas. Our anniversary is Dec. 21st so it was all decked out in Christmas decorations which was REALLY cool.
This is the atrium in the Bellagio where we stayed. It doesn't look that cool until you realize that everything is made of flowers or nuts. The reindeer in the sky are made of these big brown nuts, the house scene is all flowers and the polar bears in the below pic are made of white carnations. There was a giant Christmas Tree that changed color and there was fake snow. It was really cool.
So what do poor college students do in Las Vegas. Just wander around. But it was so fun to see all the hotels and all the neat things they have to offer.
We loved this waterfall at the Wynn hotel. Then in the Palazzo it was amazing. They had the waterfall, the Christmas Garland, and this amazing cranberry bog. That is what is in front of me in the picture. And you know how it is when you go on vacation with just two people, there are pictures of just me and then of just P.

This was in the Mirage, I think. So pretty. I LOVE Christmas decorations.

So we ate a lot, walked a ton, learned that Vegas is very busy at Christmas time, had one of the best breakfasts of our lives at the Cafe Bellagio, and ate more dessert than we have in a year thanks to the Paris buffet! So 9 years, I can't believe it's been so long but we have so many fun memories in those 9 years and now another trip to add more memories. My in-laws have new memories too-of G getting sick the night we left and throwing up all over the place. Poor baby, thanks to everyone who helped take care of my sick little baby.

The picture in the "Mirage, I think" was in the Wynn.
