Last weekend we went to Maine for P's birthday. On the way we stopped in Lexington Mass. which was really neat and ate lunch on the battle ground which is now just a nice grassy area. Then that night we went to dinner at the the Cape Neddick Lobster Pound. We all figured that we better eat Lobster since we were in Maine and good thing is we all loved it!
We went to the beach both days we were there and H LOVED playing the the sand and even is starting to like the ocean which is a new thing for her.
She had so much fun with little A and M and we had a great time with our friends. We will miss them a lot now that they are moving back West. Luckily they won't be too far from us so hopefully we can have more fun trips together.
The tide was out so far that their was plenty of wet sand that H and P could play in and make big messes. One of the big highlights of the trip, aside from the Lobster, pie, taffy, icecream, etc, was taking H swimming at the hotel pool. I don't have pics of it but it was the best she has ever done. She is normally a very reluctant swimmer but give her a water noodle and off she went. She even went under the water a few times without crying which is a big step. I can't wait to take her swimming again and to share many more vacation memories with our family and friends.
