Firestation Field Trip

Last week some wonderful women in the ward arranged for us to take our little ones to the fire station that is nearby. H was not very excited at first because she has some fear issues she is working through (bugs, loud noises, etc.), but once we were there we got to do the neatest things. This is H squirting a real fire hose, with the assistance of a fireman and me.
The kids got to play on and in the fire trucks. H wouldn't go near the fire truck for most of the time but after an hour she let me put her up on it for the picture.
I got to demonstrate the fire extinguisher which was cool because I have always wanted to know exactly how to use one, just in case.
Here is H in the emergency vehicle. It was the only one I could get her to actually go in- I think it is because it just looked like a jeep not a fire truck.
We did so much and had so much fun. Thanks to those that organized it.
