Two very different dances

H's dance class has come to a close. It is a three month program with a little recital at the end which is more like little girls standing on stage. I love having her in dance and she loves it. I just don't know what type of dance we will pursuing in the future. Next up, swimming lessons, and then soccer in the fall.

This is her little friend L. She is a year younger and L mostly just ran around the stage during the dance. It was pretty funny with H in the middle trying to do the dance. Last year H was the wild one but now that she is a year older she is so much better. It was fun to actually see her dance.

They are looking at their teacher, and yes this is during the dance. It is probably when two little girls were crying off stage and the teacher was helping them instead of doing the dance so the rest of the class could follow so they all just stood there. It was pretty funny.

I love this action shot. Her dances were rockin robin (hence the feathers in her hair) and singing in the rain in the ballet outfit.

This was during practice but I thought it was so cute!

The second dance is called the Barristers Ball, or what we call Law School Prom. P and I went last weekend and it was a lot of fun.

Oh, I didn't post any pictures of us bustin a move on the dance floor. Oh, that's right, there wasn't any. P is not one for the dancing thing but we had fun eating cookies and hanging out with his law school buddies. It's always fun to dress up and go out. Thanks J for the amazing dress, I loved it, and K for doing my hair, which was fun and different for me! Here is what we would look like if we went to prom together.

Well if we were 12 years older than most going to prom!
