Well we had a really fun fourth of July and thanks to my step-mother H was able to enjoy the day in style! Sadly a photo shoot of my two year old turned out to be much more difficult than I originally thought!!
First there was the eyes closed. Every time she said cheese she would close her eyes.
Then we would get faces like these.
Or a really big CHEESE with both the hugest smile and eyes closed.
Then a little mischievous.
And finally the last picture- a smile and eyes open! I'll take it.!
After this photo shoot, we went to a good friends house for fun with their blowup waterslide and sandbox. H played in the sand box for hours and surprisingly was not all that sandy in the end. We ate dinner and had a campfire as we awaited fireworks. The next door neighbors of our friends go all out on fireworks. The show started after dark and it was the most amazing fireworks show, in a backyard, I have ever seen. It actually was probably better than most that towns do. We were right next to it and it was more than 15 minutes long. H wasn't so sure about it in the beginning but after I learned to cover her ears she loved it and talked about it all morning this morning.
It was a fantastic day- thanks to the T family!
