Camp and Craziness!

On Friday, I returned home from Girls camp where I was the stake assistant director. It was a great week. There are always challenges in planning and executing, especially with all the laws that New york state has for camp out here, but overall it went really well. I loved to see the girls having so much fun with each other and enjoying the activities that we had planned. Someone said the other day that it is hard to motivate a teenager but I have proof that candy is still a great motivator!! Candy was a big part of my week to keep my energy up I had to have a candy bar every day! Ok, I didn't have too but a Twix bar on a daily basis sure does keep the spirits up. Sadly, my spirit was often up but my body was often down. It took a toll on me being pregnant more than I thought it would be we made it through and little one seemed happy throughout kicking and moving all around. So now on to the CRAZINESS of packing, cleaning, and moving which will all be done with as I fly out next Saturday. Until the other end when we are unpacking, cleaning, painting, and getting ready for Peter to start school. At least the weeks of the pregnancy should go by fast! I am so grateful for the chance I had to go to camp and be around great leaders and really great girls. I am sure I will be attending girls camp many more times in the future!

Glad to hear you survived the craziness and still managed to enjoy yourself! Good luck with the upcoming craziness of moving out, traveling, and then moving in. Hope all goes well! Keep us posted.
