Yesterday we decided to do some of the things that we have been meaning to do in NY but haven't gotten to yet. One of them being going to the Baseball Hall of Fame in Cooperstown NY. The drive was so beautiful and we saw enough barns and silos to last a lifetime.

The museum was beautiful and it was fun to look at the baseball stuff even if I'm not the hugest baseball fan-it's not that I don't like baseball, I do, I just don't like sports on TV. I would much rather be at the game-probably because at the game I can be eating yummy food! In fact the only way I watch sports on TV is if we have people over and there is food that we can eat!

H did really well although at times she just ran around us in circles as we looked at things.

This is my ode to the Mariners (and some of you have been wanting to see me pregnant so here you go-29 weeks pregant). I have actually only been to one Mariners game so I can hardly call them "my team" but I like their colors and their little star thingy so I pick them as my team!

At the end we went to the gift shop and H picked up a little pink bat and started swinging it. Pretty good form, don't you think? Apparently the baseball hall of fame really got her started on her career as a baseball player.
THEN...
We came home and rested a bit after stopping on the way home for an ice cream cone (it was soft serve creamsicle!).
And three hours later we headed off to the County Fair. We have been to this fair almost every year since we have lived here. We have a lot of fun memories there, and one bad one where we had to leave early because Peter had a kidney stone and was in major pain. But we wanted one more year of memories so we went as our final hurrah to the fair!

H loves the animals! Pigs, cows, sheep, you name it.

But not oxen. Which is why she is clinging to me for dear life in this picture. The closer we got to the ox behind us the tighter she wrapped her body around mine.

We visited the cows, and watched goats being milked. Petted donkeys, watched a bit of a rodeo (which I think P and I have decided is not really our thing after watching a guy on a bucking horse look like he got his brains knocked out of him as he hobbled out of the arena!)

And ended this long day with what else...a caramel apple (and a sno cone!)

You look so cute pregnant! :)
sounds like a fun busy day!! Glad you got to do some fun things to have a break from packing!
What a fun time... we have not yet made it to the county fair ~ I don't really care for the animals... perhaps I should go for the kids, though!
we are excited for you to come out. Good luck with everything!
Fun!! You are just the cutest pregnant person! We are fair weather Mariner fans. They are not doing well, so this season they are not our team! But Seattle isn't having much luck lately with professional teams.
I didn't doubt this would be the case, but you are a cute preggo lady! We're excited to see you soon in
UT!
