G received this shirt for Christmas. When he opened it he said, "I superman shirt" How he knows who superman, batman, or spiderman are is a mystery but he does and he loves them. My friend K and I have decided that it must just be something they are born with knowing, along with car noises, explosion sounds, and the obsession with all moving vehicles. I guess we will never know. But regardless, he loves his superman shirt and I think it is super cute on him.
H the photographer shot this one- I don't really know when. Apparently she has been taking my camera without me knowing. Oh well, nice shot for a 5 year old whose hands are not that much bigger than the camera.
The holidays were spent with some super fun family! A & H don't have enough pics of themselves and since she has forsaken her blog I will post one for them Aren't they the cutest!
Ok, so Christmas Day. Lots of fun presents. We now have Woody and Jessie in the house. I know you are thinking, not the greatest picture of the two of them. This is the best I got. The kids were in constant motion so to get them to sit still was not the easiest so I took what I could get!
H got a Tiana doll. She loves it. I showed her a bunch online and she picked Tiana. I love that she picked the one that looks the least like her and loves it so much. Oh, and what is she wearing over her pajamas you might ask? A skirt. Yep, even at bedtime she must wear skirts but nightgowns are way too cold for this time of year (and our house is a bit drafty) so this is the best option. Funny little H!
G got these bath squirters that they both love for the tub. They are trains and trains are super fun in the tub, apparently. He looks very serious but I promise he was excited this Christmas morning. I just couldn't seem to capture his smiles because he was moving too fast to all the new toys!
Santa brought G a tool bench which he loves. He works at it all day.
H got this from Santa (a.k.a Daddy made it) It is a "wardrobe". We saw one in a magazine and she was hooked. It is now full of all her dress up clothes and accessories. It was so funny to see the look on Santa's face when she would say she wanted a wardrobe for Christmas. They of course thought a lot of new clothes. Nope, she wanted something to organize her dress up stuff. Again, funny little H. I love that girl.
And finally, after the tree was gone this remained in the carpet. A flower the kids called it. H asked to take a picture of it. After a few minutes I remembered I had given her the camera. We now have 8 of these pictures and a few videos of it too. Note to self-pay more attention when H has the camera! We will always remember the tree flower and the pine needles I spent a long time vacuuming up!

I hope everyone had a fabulous Christmas. I was really sad as I took down the decorations this year because I knew it was the last year I would put them up in this house. Sigh...

Your santa rocks...how can we get our santa to make a wardrobe like that. I love that you guys are purists and still do the real tree. I am still finding pine needles all over the house. Tell your cute family hello for us
Nice job on the wardrobe. Are you sure P wants to practice law? He could have a future in furniture. Your kids are so cute - it is fun to see the pictures!
Love the wardrobe! I wish my husband had such great skills.
