Christmas Time is Here!

I love to do lots of things for Christmas. A few years ago I felt like the month passed too quickly and I didn't have time to do everything I had wanted so I have remedied that and we have been doing lots. Here are some of the festivities!
H's school has a cute Christmas Party with the best Santa. H tells Santa she wants a "wardrobe" for Christmas. That is the name of a shelf unit thing she saw in a magazine that she can put her dress up clothes in. It catches the Santa's off guard to hear her say she wants a wardrobe. G just says he wants candy canes. He can eat those things so fast it's amazing. I am pretty sure he eats the wrapper on them too.
They sing at the little party. She wanted to dress up in a Christmas dress.
I try and force the kids in pics with me often- they sometimes turn out pretty cute.

This year we went with our friends to the live Nativity in Provo. They had animals outside and then the Christmas program inside. When the wise men came walking in G said, " dats my favit part." Which is good because most of the time during the performance he was yelling, "no baby Jesus!" Because when he doesn't want to do something he always puts the word no in front. "No eat lunch" "No go to park" No go to church"- sadly this little outburst was more sac-religious than some of his others!

Here we are with a camel. They said this camel was pregnant and due any day. We thought it strange that it is the camel they picked to put in front of a bunch of children because I think mine would be pretty freaked out if a camel started having a baby in front of them!

Ahh, don't they look so sweet in front of the tree. It's good to have a picture to remember this because most of the time it's a little more like this: "G put the ornament back" "No more candy canes!" "I will get out the hot glue gun to fix it H, don't cry" "Please don't go behind the tree"
The holidays, so much joy...
We also visited the reindeer at Thanksgiving point- can you see the horns in the background?? They are there I promise. The reindeer this year-Prancer and Snowflake (a baby in training is what they said). We asked what the reindeer ate because every year H puts reindeer food out on Christmas Eve. The guy told us they eat tomatoes. Ok, seriously, can you humor me and say oats or something to my children! So help me if I have to put tomatoes in the snow for the reindeer this year. Yesterday at H's Christmas Party her teacher asked her what reindeer eat and she said tomatoes. We got some strange looks for that one!

Here is part of her singing. Her friend S is beside her. And G singing his favorite song. Santa Claus is coming to town- he drops his voice real low when he says town-it makes me laugh. Well Merry Christmas and I am sure there will be more Christmas posts to come!

Great pictures. You are brave putting the tree up. We waited till the 15th when the boys were that little.
