G turned 1!

Yesterday little G turned 1! I can't believe my baby is getting so big. We filled the backyard (well, my in-laws backyard!) with balls and balloons and turned on the bubble machine for the little ones to play in. G was so excited at first to see all these balls for him to play in.
Sadly, he had a little cold yesterday so I gave him some benedryl and he seemed pretty sleepy a lot of the time. But I think he still really liked all the fun.

So this is his 1st birthday cake. P and I had quite the time trying to make the balls look right but they turned out cute-not professional by any means, but cute!

So these pictures are out of order but you get the idea. Here is the baseball cake that I gave him. He kept leaning over to bite it instead of picking it up.

He reached out to touch the flame and was very mesmerized by it.

He got the hang of it quickly!

I was surprised that after eating the entire ball, we gave the older kids only half a ball so G ate a lot of cake, that he never seemed to have a tummy ache. That's my boy!
