Well we have officially made it to NY. We got here Friday afternoon and found our house. It is definitely got "character" but it will be great while we are here. More on the house later.
The drive was fun and somewhat uneventful which is exactly how we wanted it. We spent our first day with friends in Colorado and had a really fun time catching up and playing outside. Night two, was spent with our friends who we haven't seen in 6 years in Kansas. The girls had so much fun together and even got to all stay in bunk beds together which made H so happy! Then we spent two nights in hotels and H LOVED swimming in both of them. She is getting much braver with putting her face in the water which is fun to see. The kids did so good in the car although I think by the end G was ready to be done! We also stopped in Kirtland, Ohio and saw the sights there which was really neat. It was a fun, long, but fun drive but we are glad we are here now.
The house that we are staying in is old but it is in a great location which we love. We have already walked to the carousel downtown and walked along Broadway. It is a pretty big house which is nice to have space to spread out in. I miss our "stuff" (furniture, bed, etc) but we will adjust soon I am sure. P starts work tomorrow which we are excited about him seeing what he will be doing. We are excited to see friends again here and are excited about some weekend trips we are starting to plan.

I just keep thinking how I can't wait until Monday so I can email you and tell you One week down only 8 more to go... we sure miss you guys.
