Never too rich for me

When eating a decadent dessert I have often heard people remark, "wow, this is really rich," or "it was just a little too rich for me."  That is not a phrase I think I have ever uttered. The richer the better!  I just love chocolate desserts.   So when my friend K made this cake for me I knew that my other friend K, a fan of chocolate and peanut butter, would love it for her birthday.  So here is my delicious little masterpiece.  It was a pain to frost because as you can see it was tall, but it was so worth the effort.  Here is the before eating:
and the after, to see the yummy insides:
It is three 9 inch chocolate cakes with a super yummy peanut butter frosting and reeses peanut butter cups on top!
Happy Eating!

I agree! How can a dessert be too rich? :-) If you're into chocolate and richness, may i suggest, the western family brand of ice cream, called mud pie--it is my favorite-so yummy. And the cake you made looks incredibly delish!

You should pass along the recipe. I LOVE chocolate, and John doesn't, so I don't get to indulge in decadent chocolate desserts very often...but I'm sure I could find someone out here who would enjoy it with me.
