Trouble with Bunnies

As some of you may know, we used to have a bunny which we gave to a lady who had a farm and liked bunnies more than we did.  But wouldn't you know it, a couple years later I am faced with having to deal with bunnies again.  H has recently acquired a bunny, or several bunnies.  They are fuzzy and cute and did I mention...invisible.  Yes, my 3 year old plays with invisible bunnies and they are trouble.  They hop out of her bed at naptime and she runs through the house trying to catch them.  Then they hide behind chairs making it difficult to get.  They run down the driveway when we are getting in the car and H runs down the icy driveway after them-it's amazing that she hasn't fallen down yet in pursuit.  They are constantly getting in trouble and she gets mad at them and then sometimes she puts them in her sandwich and eats them...yes that's right, when they are naughty she just eats them.  But more are around shortly after that.  Sometimes she doesn't even need to sleep with stuffed animals because she has her bunnies.  She will switch them from hand to hand if we want to hold one of her hands in a store she will put them bunny in the other hand.  So what does this mean?  I have a creative child?  Imaginative? or just a little goofy?  Regardless, these bunnies make us laugh, and keep us wondering what trouble they will get into next.

That is so funny...you should ask her what her bunnies taste like!

I love that she chases them when she's supposed to be doing something else! And then EATS them?! That's funny! Haley has out-grown her imaginary friends, but Annie just turned 3 so I am curious to see if she will have any.

I was rolling - had to read it out loud to Robyn when she got home from school! She would no doubt join H in chasing bunnies around the halls at church when she's supposed to be in Sunday school :)

This is too funny. What an imagination. Isn't it great what kids this age come up with! We sure miss you guys. Hope all is well.

That is way too funny for me. Jocelyn hasn't done too much with invisible things yet, but she personifies everything- shells, nail polish bottles. They are people to her. Kids are great!
