Happy 3rd Birthday!

The day after coming home from the hospital we celebrated H's 3rd birthday! I have always been a big birthday fan and wanted H to have a good birthday despite what else was going on. So we settled on a Barnyard Bash at our house! This is her birthday cake- super easy but really cute. And yes, that is Winnie the Pooh on the cake. She insisted that he was at the farm too. The things on the side are white chocolate pretzels that are supposed to look like haystacks.
We decorated the house, well my mother in law and brother and sister in law were super nice to do this for me since I wasn't really in a position to reach and bend. We took white balloons and made cow spots on them and put curly tails on the pink ones.
H had one friend at her party, and lots of adults!! Grandma, Grandpa, two of our friends, two aunts and two uncles, a brother and mommy and daddy of course!
This is our farm food spread. The chicken nuggets aren't in the picture but the rest of the food was fun kid and farm food.
H waiting patiently to blow out the candles. We actually did the candle blowing out twice because the first time I forgot to turn on the video camera.

Take two was better anyway.

We had lots of fun at our farm party and she got some super fun gifts. I can't believe she is 3 already! When I look at baby G I can see so much of her as a newborn in him so it brings me back a little. I am so grateful to have such a fun spunky little girl and now a sweet little boy too.

Random question! Did you put in the counter tops in the kitchen??

No, those are what they came with. They are granite which is great but the pattern and color is a little weird. It matches great with our dishes though because it has flecks of orange in it like our dishes are.
