Don't make plans with a two year old
I've learned this little tip this last week. When we were at P's parents house we saw a magazine about Disney World and I sat down with H to look at it. It had pictures of hotels, fireworks, and of course the teacup ride (which she remembers going on last October with Daddy and Grandpa). I told her that when Daddy is done with law school and she is almost 6 then we can go to Disney World and ride the teacups (because this is when we will be actually receiving paychecks again!!). Following that planning experience, P went to school the next day. I told her that he would be home soon and she said, "and then we can go on the teacups". So I patiently reminded her that it was when Daddy was ALL done and she was almost 6. Sadly for me, my sweet 2 year old now asks me daily when Daddy is coming home if it is time to go on the teacups and from this I have learned that you never should make plans with a two year old unless the plans are for the immediate future!!

Too funny... Jackson's most commonly used phrases these days are, "not yet" and "just wait." I am pretty sure he picked up on them from me! Waiting is so hard when you are only two.
LOL, that's too cute!
That is darling! I bet she will forget soon enough only to announce at ther 6th bithday - we are going to the teacups!
