We hit a new milestone recently that I thought I'd share. Every morning for the past year I have asked H what she wants for breakfast and given her a few options- usually oatmeal, cereal, or eggs. A week or so ago I asked her what she wanted and gave her the choices but instead of choosing anything I said she said she wanted "Ogret"(yogurt). I thought this was neat because instead of just saying something I already said she actually could communicate what she really wanted to eat. Now it is a surprise as to what she asks for for breakfast- one day it was peaches. I love that she can not only tell me she's hungry but what she's hungry for.

(Notice her "princella" placemat-she loves it!)

She's very cute. I love her hair. How old is she now? It's always nice when they can communicate their needs. Makes them less whiny:) Can't wait to see you guys again.
Hopefully she doesn't start asking for candy!
It's fun to watch them as they grow and become more independent! It seems at this age they pick up new words everyday...
