DARK
It is really dark out. It is a strange time of year when it gets dark so early. I don't mind it all that much, maybe it's my upbringing in Alaska, but it always feels later than it is. But I have always been one to welcome differences in routine so welcome to the dark! It's here to stay and I guess I better just get used to it- well here to stay for a few months at least!

I understand completely since I too grew up in AK. The time change just makes it happen suddenly instead of gradually. :)
I love the dark this time of year. I always think of the smell of warm soup and doing my homework around the table while my mom got dinner ready. Some how there is a nice coziness that the dark provides during the early evening of the winter months.
