First up: Renaissance fair with P's bro and our sis in law and our friend S and her super cute kids! Who knew fairies were such a big part of the renaissance?! H was so excited to sit with this pretty fairy. She got a little spoiled with a new flower crown and the glitter necklace around her neck in the picture below. It was so much fun!
They had these funny rides that were all human powered. So these guys dressed in renaissance costumes pushed the boats, like giant swings. H and her friends kept yelling, "higher!" Those guys had their work cut out for them!
H had so much fun with her new friends. We also went to a Dexter Tripp show and H got to go down a huge slide, we ate some fun foods, and really enjoyed seeing all the people dressed up! We all had a great time!
Ok, so the Arizona Science Center is super fun. We saw Body Worlds there. G thought it was just a bunch of monsters (which if you have seen the exhibit you know what I'm talking about!) which he thought was really funny. We also played with everything there. Here is Uncle B helping G pull himself up-but I am pretty sure G thought he was doing it himself!
H is working hard to pull herself up. She couldn't do it last year but this year she is a pro!
H loves to pose in pictures these days- you will notice she tips her head a lot. Isn't she cute??
After the science center we met up for Mexican Food with our good friends from NY that live in AZ now. H thought the boys were so funny! We had lots of fun at our crazy dinner with all our crazy kids.
The next day was the zoo! We love the zoo. We don't have a lot of pics of the animals because they are mostly all sleeping which doesn't make for the best picture but the kids had fun on the carousel!
When you are in AZ you have to pose with a cactus right??
So there is this super fun kids area at the Zoo. They have all kinds of farm stuff and the kids LOVED it all. Here is our little farm kids.
See the giraffe in the front, and in the back! H wore this shirt because she was sure the animals would love it, especially the giraffes. I am pretty sure they did love it.
We also visited with my cute friend Lisa which was super fun and spent lots of time with B and S which was the best. Thanks guys for a super fun trip!
After Phoenix, we visited the northern AZ area and more family there. H would get up at the crack of dawn and help M with the horses. She loved it. They called themselves Ranch Dudes. We also went shopping and we each got some amazing things! Such fun memories!
The kids played outside, collected rocks and enjoyed the sunshine!
