After driving for a little while we got out to hike a short little trail. H was asleep in the car so when we woke her up she was a bit grouchy. This is what happens when you are grouchy and G is around- he will pull your hair so watch out! Not the best way to start the hike but it quickly got better.
We love finding water and rocks to climb on. P especially is a daredevil and I am sure the little ones will follow in his footsteps.
Isn't this what everyone hikes in? A jean skirt and leggings? Is she not the cutest little hiker ever!
After about 3/4 of a mile, a lot of little wood plank bridges and beautiful leaves, we reached our destination.

One of the kids favorite things to do on a hike is have a snack (I think they get their love for food from me!) So we find a place to sit and have a snack. See how happy they are?
Then a bit more driving and we came to this little hike. So pretty!
G found a few rocks along the way which we referred to as his "rockies". One time he tripped and fell down pretty hard and the only thing he said was, "where's my rocky?" We found his rocky and continued on.
I will miss the fall next year, I might need to come back in the fall to enjoy. I was super lucky this year to see fall in Utah and in NY. It is such a fun time for apples, pumpkin, Halloween, three of the four birthday's in the family, and leaves-lots of amazing leaves. Love it.
There was a little cave with a waterfall. It was really beautiful- super simple but so pretty and serene.

That looks fun! I guess I should be grateful for UT fall... I always complain about missing east coast fall, but I guess UT fall is better than no fall!
