So I haven't posted lately because our internet is so slow I haven't been able to upload any pictures. But it's working a little better so here are so pics from our time so far in SD. So just to clarify, please don't think it is easy for us to move our two little ones to another state and live in a place that has none of our stuff in it. Sometimes we look at other peoples blogs and think, "wow that is so easy for that person" and then we feel bad about ourselves. It has been an adjustment and there have definately been days when I have been so frustrated but we try and keep really busy and enjoy everything here. G doesn't sleep past 6 in the morning no matter when we put him to bed so we are trying to figure out how to live on less sleep than we are used to. H is going through an independent phase of her life and loves to throw fits but we are working through that too. I have noticed that taking the kids places and entertaining them constantly makes me feel closer to them and realize how blessed I am to have them. It also helps me realize how much I have to work on and that I need to be a better teacher to them. So here are some things we do on a regular basis (and some Disney pics since they didn't post last time).
1. Seaworld- Last weekend we went as a family to Sea World. So much fun. Some highlights were the super cute sea lion show with the little otter that waves and gets soda and just is pure cuteness. Also the Polar Bear, Beluga Whales and Walrus area, and the penguins. Here are my little penguins. H loves these things to stick her head in.

2. Natural history museum: We got a pass to the AZ science center when we were there and it works for two of the museums here. The Natural History museum is one of them so we go there about once a week. There are dinosaurs, and a few other fun things to look at.

Here are some Disney pics that I love. More to come.

3. The Zoo: So we also go to the zoo about once a week. We just stay for an hour or two but it is fun to get out in the nice weather and have fun animals to look at. (Don't worry the man in this picture is H's Grandpa not just a random man!)

4. Science Center: Another one of our free museums with our AZ science center pass. They have an area for age 5 and under called Kid City that is so fun. The kids play with this crazy ball machine, and a bunch of other fun stuff. This is a hose that blows air that you put in these areas to make music or other things but G just likes to blow the air on his face.

5. Walks- There couldn't be a prettier place to go on walks and the kids love it. G gets so excited as soon as he sees the ocean.

6. Firehouse museum- This museum is only about 2 blocks away from us and although we have only gone there once H loves it. It had mostly old firetrucks, old hats, badges, etc. but she loves it. i am sure we will go there again this week. It's only 3 dollars so I think I can handle going again.

7. Parks- we explore lots of parks! This one was right on the beach. Amazing, to be able to look at that scenery while watching the kids play. We have found several others that we love more but this one has the best view!

8. Children's Museum- We got passes to the children's museum downtown and it is super fun. it is a little older than G's age but it's still a lot of fun. This is a little bounce house they have there. G likes to just run through it, get off and run around on the ground and then get back in. Funny guy.

9. Model Railroad museum- G and H love trains so I took them to this little museum which they loved. G calls trains Woo Woo's and since we live downtown we see tons of trains go by which is the best thing ever. They know when they see the sign go down or hear the bells that the train is coming. G is even wearing his train shirt at this museum. I wanted to get a picture of him there but it was just the 3 of us so H took this first picture. Not bad for a 4 year old. The first picture she cut our heads off but she improved on the second one.

Phew, I think that's about it. I will post pictures from the Wild Animal Park in the next post with some more favs from the different places. Yes we have been busy. One day last week we went to 2 museums and 2 parks in the same day with a nap in the middle. Hopefully I can keep up this momentum of fun things every day when we get back home!

I'm sure that is not an easy adjustment, but it looks like you are making the most of a great place! I love the ocean view - it is so beautiful! Oh, and you and H have the exact same look on your faces in the disney photo. So cute!
I love San Diego and it looks like you are enjoying your time there. Have you found out yet if it will be permanent soon? Super cute kids!
Wow you are a busy lady! Looks like you have been having beautiful weather. We are still in school here - but I am looking forward to summer mode. But I think I'll play it easy and spend most days at the lake. I tend to save our big outings for the weekends When there are two adults instead of one :-) I bet your kids are having a blast!
