Island Park

Our sweet friends took us to their cabin in Island Park, ID a few weeks ago. We had such a fun time. We went from 70 degrees here to 8 degrees when we arrived there. So we brought all of our bundle up clothes and G got to experience what it feels like to barely be able to move because of too many clothes!
Most days we just hung around the cabin, Hallie ate icicles which I think is kinda gross but she loved, and we ate yummy food.
We got to go sledding and just play in the snow which was fun for all of us. Here is Gavin in his new snow gear. The hat is from my brother and sister in law and I think it is SO cute!
Then we drove to Yellowstone, which was about an hour drive. We went to Old Faithful and a few of the other sights. If you look off to the right you will see buffalo. Lots of buffalo and elk is what we saw there. Which was fun since the last time I went there I saw no animals!

We even got to celebrate H's friend M's birthday while we were there. This was a delicious almond poppyseed cake.
I love fires. Indoor and out. There is just something cozy about a warm fire on a cold day.
Thanks W family for a really fun time!
