1. Making treats! This year was chocolate coconut and chocolate peanut butter balls
2. Snow- and we are definately having a white Christmas
3. Church music programs
4. Decorating the house
5. The smell of our real tree-P insists upon real trees and I am glad he does although it is not nearly as cost effective!
6. Christmas outfits
7. Christmas Cards- especially with pictures of the family and letters to find out how everyones year has gone.
8. Flavors of Christmas-cinnamon, mint, chocolate, caramels, ginger and cloves; hot chocolate with candy cane in it & cookie exchanges
9. Being with my family and having them to share the holidays with.
10. Buying and wrapping presents- I love when I think of a gift that I know the person is going to really like. I am so excited for P to open two of his presents this year.
11. Christmas lights- I love driving around and seeing the lights and having them in my home.
12. The Nativity- It is so neat to see all the different nativity's in peoples homes and this year H is starting to understand it which is fun.
13. Christmas music. I listen to it every time I am in the car- I insist that it is only on Christmas music until Christmas. P gets tired of it, and sometimes I do as well, but it's only for one month so I must make the most of it!
14. Hearing H's thoughts and comments about Christmas:
-"Mommy, let's buy a tree with lots of lights on it."
-"Are the candy canes on the Christmas tree ready to eat yet."
-" I think Santa wants apples with his cookies and hot chocolate."
15. Making the most of every day in December so that when Christmas is over you feel like you truly enjoyed the season.

what about home made potpourri? If you need a recipe, I think we still have that little book from our bathroom... (if you don't remember what I'm talking about, don't worry. Adam and I do!).
