A slighlty less bumpy road

I have been thinking a lot about the paths that we are on in life. How one decision, whether big or small, can sometimes lead to wonderful things and other times challenges. I am very grateful for the path my life has taken. Different for sure then what I thought it would be but very wonderful. It was a very bumpy road on the way to getting little H to come to our family but now that we have her I find myself sometimes feeling overwhelmingly lucky to be a mom and have this opportunity. I feel even luckier and almost not worthy of the chance I have to now be bringing number 2 into our family at the beginning of October. It was a slightly less bumpy road to this one then with H but still with a long wait and a lot of medications but much less than before which we were so grateful for. It is hard to believe that I can have this coming blessing into my life and I just pray that it too will arrive to us safely as H did. H is thrilled and thinks it's in her belly but I think she will start understanding exactly where it is as her mommy starts looking bigger and bigger!! We are happy to have great friends and family to share this news with and can't wait for the time when we can post the pictures of the new little one!
